Greg Mazur

Mr. Mazur is a Partner and co-founder of Vantarex Ventures and is the COO and co-founder of a multimodal AI start-up.

Mr. Mazur has 30 years experience with principal investing, M&A, financings and corporate management positions. He has held senior positions with some of the world’s largest investment banks in Asia including Citigroup (Head of TMT), Merrill Lynch (Head of Asian M&A) and ABN Amro (Head of Energy & Resources).

Prior to co-founding Vantarex, Mr Mazur was the founder and Managing Partner of Quantum Pacific Capital (QPC), an active investment firm based in Hong Kong. While at QPC, Mr Mazur founded and managed a $50mm renewable energy fund, was Executive Chairman and co-founder of a California biomass power company and led activist shareholders and a board spill at Intrepid Mines – now the principal copper/gold asset of Merdeka Copper Gold (MDKA:IDX) in Indonesia.

Currently based in Hong Kong, Mr. Mazur has been in Asia since 1996 with additional positions held in London, New York, Dubai and Sydney. He has co-founded four companies and worked on over 100 principal investment, strategic advisory and financing transactions totalling over $50 billion across more than 20 countries.

Aamir Rahim

Mr. Rahim is currently based in Hong Kong and has spent over 30 years working is Asia including Japan, and Singapore. He has worked on the largest Sovereign, corporate and High Yield financing transactions over his career worth over $100bn . He has worked at Citi/SSB, Goldman Sachs, Peregrine and JP Morgan.

Mr. Rahim’s investment banking experience as a Managing Director at Citi includes:

Asia-Pacific Management Committee and Risk Committee
Head of Public Sector and Sovereign Wealth Fund coverage for Asia-Pacific: Provided access to and delivered the firm’s products at the C-suite level.
CEO of Asia-Pacific Private Banking and Wealth Management: Responsibilities included re-structuring and growing Nikko Cordial Securities, Salomon Smith Barney and Citi Private Bank.
Co-Head of Fixed Income Currencies and Commodities Asia Pacific: Managed Sales, Trading, Research, Origination and treasury in all markets across the region.
Head of Fixed Income Capital Markets Asia Pacific: Built external and internal relationships to deliver market leading Investment Grade Bond High Yield and Leverage Finance platform for Asian and G-10 currencies.

Prior to co-founding Vantarex, Mr. Rahim was Advisory Board Chairman to PrivateMarketes.io, an online wealth management platform. He was also an Advisory Board member of Diginex, a digital assets financial services company which recently listed on the NASDAQ and ALAMI, a P2P lending platform in Indonesia. He also served as the Representative Chairman Asia for Bridge Investments Group, a U.S. based private equity fund.
